Happy 9 Months Parker Ann

Well Parker is 9 months old and growing bigger everyday.  She is chatting up a storm and crawling everywhere.  We went in for her 9 month check up today...

Weight - 19 pounds 9 ounces
Length- 29 inches long.


She still doesn't have any teeth but I'm not complaining.  She has been eating puffs ( in all flavors) she also likes the wagon wheels but I could do without those because they are so messy and sticky.  I've just started giving her the veggie sticks and she likes those pretty good as well.  She basically LOVES food.  I have introduced some meats into her meals and she is kinds particular when it comes to those.  Parker also LOVES her books!  Her favorites are Brown Bear Brown Bear, 10 Little Ladybugs, and Jam Berry.  She  is getting such a little personality, she doesn't like it when you get out of her sight, she is just a joy to be around and I thank the Lord that he blessed me with such an amazing little girl.

Beach Vacation

Well Justin, Parker and myself just got back yesterday from the beach and we had a wonderful time!  I will say Parker did AMAZING in the car except the last hour she just wanted to get out of her car seat.  We were the first to arrive last saturday followed by my parents and then my sister Katharine and her husband LJ arrived around 2 am Sunday morning.  Sunday we hit the beach running the with kiddo's, Parker was a little hesitant the first day with the sand and the ocean but by the end of the trip she was definitely a beach baby.

I took a ton of pictures on the trip, it was so fun to have the babies together again.  Parker is going non-stop and Barnes is so laid back that he will just sit and watch Parker go everywhere.  This are a few pictures of their first day at the beach.

First Mother's Day

Well I have to say that I had a WONDERFUL first Mother's Day.  Parker and Justin gave me a gift certificate to a local Spa here in Natchitoches and I can't wait to use it.  We went to church and then had lunch over at Justin's parents house.  Justin and I went in town for a little while and like always we just couldn't resist buying Parker a present while we were in town; she absolutely loves it!  Parker has been such a blessing and I thank the Lord everyday for her. I feel so lucky to be the mother of such a wonderful little girl.

From Past to Present...

Well today we all go up and got ready for church this morning and I decided to put Parker in a dress that my mom made for my sister's first birthday. I'm so glad that I tried it on her this morning because I think if I would have waited any longer it might have been to small.  I had to take a picture of her and I have to say she looked beautiful!!
