Happy 6 Months Parker Ann

I can not believe my little girl is 6 months old today, time is going by way to fast.  Parker is doing and eating a few new things.

Parker is now eating:
sweet potatoes
squash
green beans
pears and bananas. She loves her food!

Parker is able to take her pacifier in and out all by herself.

She is sitting up better and better, This past weekend was the first time that Justin and I both left Parker.  We went to New Orleans for our anniversary and Parker stayed with Justin's parents.  I had a great time with Justin and I know it was good for us to get away, but I missed my little girl.

Parker is now getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth.  I know that crawling is not
far away.  I just can't believe how fast things are changing!

Sitting Up

Well today I was able to snap a few pictures of Parker sitting up.  She still falls over but I think she is starting to get the hang of it.  I just can't get over how big she is getting.

Parker's Jenny Jump Up

Ever since Parker was born she has been kicking her legs NON-STOP!  She can't keep socks on for anything.  I couldn't wait to buy her toy that she could play with and watch her bounce up and down.  Well this past weekend Justin and I went to target and bought her a Jenny Jump Up I asked Justin to put it together on Sunday once we got back home.  Justin took this video and I couldn't help but share it.

Missing Charley

Well today has been a really sad day in our house, our little dachshund Charley passed away today.  Justin had Charley ever since college and she was a great dog.  Parker was just starting to get really interest in the dogs and she had even started petting Charley. 

Charley was a great dog and great around Parker.  She would let Parker pull on her ear and pet her, it was so precious.  When my mom was here the last weekend in January I was able to snap a few pictures of Parker, Charley, and my mom.

5 months

Well Parker is 5 months old today!  I can't believe its been 5 months already, I know I'm probably repeating myself but its going by so fast.  Big changes from 4 to 5 months.

Parker found her feet
Started on rice cereal
Talking and squealing non-stop
Parker has rolled over from her back to her tummy
She is moving around like crazy- some how she can completely move around.  I'll put her down one way and I can step away for 5 seconds and she has completely turned around. Here are a few pics I took today.  Hope everyone has a blessed day!

First Pair of Jeans

Well while Justin and I were in Alexandria the other day we went to the mall to buy Parker her first pair of jeans!  She had a few little onesies that I thought would look so cute with a pair of jeans.  Here are of few pics I took today along with her "reading" one of her books.

Rice Cereal

Well this past Monday we started Parker on rice cereal and to say she didn't really like it is an understatement.  I think she had maybe 2 bites and decided she was done.

I can say that since these pictures were taken Parker and taken a better liking to the cereal and last night it helped her sleep much better which was a relief to me and Justin.
